Paul Reynolds

Paul has over 20 years' experience as an adviser in the banking, debt and equity capital markets, having worked at Barings and Cazenove before joining Rothschild in 2005. He has been Head of Middle East Debt and Equity Advisory since 2008, in which role he advises Governments, Government related entities and large companies across the GCC. He is a founder committee member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) Middle East, an Honorary Fellow of the ACT and Chairman of the Middle East Investor Relations Society.
Paul advises governments, large and small companies and bond trustees on capital structure, fund raising, refinancing and restructuring across the debt and equity product spectrum. He has been principal adviser on 92 such deals in respect of over €200 billion of financing since January 2003, having also separately provided non-transactional advice to 52 clients on capital structure, debt capacity, ratings issues and funding strategy over that period. |

Michael Chojnacki

Michael Chojnacki is Vice President at the Bank of New York Mellon within Global Issuer Services, specializing in Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) for issuers from the Middle East Region. His role involves supporting and advising issuer clients with their capital market strategies and investor relations outreach programs. Prior to joining The Bank of New York Mellon, Michael was a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Advisory Services team at Thomson Reuters in Milan and London, working with issuer clients from Emerging Europe and the Middle East. Michael grew up in Dubai and holds a degree in Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He enjoys playing tennis, sailing and photography. |

Oliver Schutzmann

Oliver Schutzmann is responsible for driving education initiatives with the aim of standardizing investor relations best practice in the Middle East. Oliver designed and conducts the Certified Investor Relations Officer education and certification program. He is also the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications of SHUAA Capital, one of the leading regional financial institutions. At SHUAA, he ensures timely and accurate disclosure of information to the Firm’s global shareholders and stakeholders. Oliver has been widely recognized for being the first to pioneer and promote international best practice investor relations in the GCC region. His 15+ years of hands-on experience includes pioneering one of the first investor relations portals in Europe, launching one of the first small and mid cap funds in Germany, and advising senior leaders on the strategy and practice of investor relations and financial marketing in Europe, the US and the GCC region. Oliver started his professional career with Euromoney Institutional Investor and has held senior positions with The Economist, Charles Barker and Fasseck & Cie. |

Mark Shuttleworth

Mark is the Chief Financial Officer of du and has overseen the company’s finances from the initial phases of the start up of the company, its listing on the Dubai Financial Market in April 2006, through to its emergence as a major telecommunications company in the region. Prior to this Mark was the Group Chief Financial officer of the publicly listed national telecoms company, Qatar Telecom QSC (“Qtel”). Previously Mark was Group Financial Director for European Telecom Plc, a UK Listed telecommunications group undertaking manufacturing, configuration and distribution services across Europe. Mark is a qualified Chartered Accountant of England and Wales and has a BSc (Hons) Accountancy and Computing from De Montford University, UK. |

Peter Gotke

Peter Gotke is a Vice President at BNY Mellon, representing their Depositary Receipt interests in the Middle East. Peter is based in the Dubai office, supporting BNY Mellon Issuers, with responsibility for new Depositary Receipt programs in the region, and acting as a spokesperson in the media and at conferences for depositary receipts and investor relations. Peter holds a BA in Business Studies and Marketing from London Metropolitan University and prior to joining the Bank, Peter was employed by the Corporate division of Thomson Reuters. At Thomson Peter held roles that included Sales Director of EMEA, and Managing Director of their Investor Relations practice in Asia Pacific. Peter brings to the Middle East over 12 years of investor relations experience from his time in these and other emerging markets. |

Ben Franz-Marwick

Ben joined Emirates NBD as Head of Investor Relations in September 2008. Earlier in 2008, Ben joined Gulf Finance House in Bahrain as Head of Investor Relations before which he spent five years in Investor Relations with RBS where he was integral in building and developing their IR team. From 2000 to 2002 Ben was a consultant to Fidelity Investment Management in both London and Bermuda.
A Chartered Accountant from South Africa, Ben trained and worked with Deloitte in Southern Africa and Bermuda in both audit and consulting capacities. He is also a CFA Charterholder and holds a Business Finance Honours Degree from the University of Cape Town. |

Hasnain Malik

Hasnain Malik is a Managing Director in Citi’s investment research effort in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, based in Dubai since 2007. He covers 17 companies and equity strategy across the region. Prior to this role he was in charge of Citi’s Telecom Equipment research in Europe. He joined Salomon Brothers in March 1998 from BZW Securities. He has covered a number of sectors in research (including Economics, European Utilities and Global Technology) and achieved high rankings in Extel and Institutional Investor surveys between 1999-2011.
Hasnain holds a BSc Honours degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and an M.Phil. in Economics, both from Oxford University (which he attended from 1991 to 1996). |

Fiona Piper

Fiona is Head of Investor Relations for global marine terminal operator DP World which has a dual listing on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Dubai. Fiona joined DP World in June 2006 ahead of the debt and equity capital market transactions in 2007 and has built an international standard investor relations platform for DP World’s global debt and equity investors.
Prior to joining DP World Fiona worked for a leading Financial Communications agency in London advising UK and Overseas Companies on major M&A transactions, shareholder relations, crisis management and financial calendar communications. Fiona has a BSc in Politics and Economics. |

Alex Menage is Head of Corporate Services for Emerging Markets at Thomson Reuters. In his role, Alex advises Middle East issuers about best practices and available solutions for their Investor Relations, Corporate Treasury, and Corporate Development activities. Alex joined Thomson Reuters in London in July 2004 and looked after European companies. He then relocated to Dubai in November 2008, in charge of Middle East Africa, and expanded his remit to Emerging Markets globally in January 2011. Alex is passionate about people and an expert at creating long and trusted relationships. Alex was raised in France and graduated from Business and Management School of Tours, Loire Valley (ESC Tours). |

Basil Moftah

Basil Moftah joined Reuters in Egypt over 10 years ago, through the European Graduate Program. He started in the client training department, demoing and training users on Reuters 3000 product series. He later moved to Italy as a sales executive selling Kondor+, a risk management systems. Later, his career took him to Milan for a short assignment in finance, and then to London and San Francisco for 2½ years as an investment associate in Reuters venture capital group. After being away for 2 year on an MBA mission in Harvard, he came back as a regional head of Business Direct for EMEA, based in London. He held this post for 3 years and is now ready for his new challenge in MEA as the Managing Director of Thomson Reuters MEA based in Dubai. |

Katharine Darcy

Katherine D’Arcy has more than 20 years of international experience in administration, marketing and communications through management roles in oil and gas, financial, consultancy and other services organisations. Most recently, she served as corporate affairs manager for RAK Petroleum in the UAE where she had overall responsibility for media and investor relations, human resources planning and related administration matters. Earlier roles include director of marketing services for the multi-family housing division of Fannie Mae in Washington DC, a government-sponsored enterprise providing liquidity to U.S. housing and mortgage markets and head of corporate affairs in Asia Pacific for Citigroup’s investment and corporate bank based in Hong Kong,
She is a 1977 Bachelor of Arts graduate from Wellesley College. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA’s John E. Anderson School of Management in 1992 and acquired the MEIRS CIRO Level 1 and 2 certification in November 2011. In addition to her work with MEIRS, she serves as Vice President, Financial Affairs and Treasurer, American Business Council of Dubai and Northern Emirates (2011-2012). |

Nader, who has more than 25 years of multi-industry professional work experience in several countries, is an MBA graduate and holder of a BS from the University of the State of New York. He was a member of the Investment Fund Institute of Canada, with focused experience in financial consultancy and brokerage, and worked for Qatar Telecom (‘Qtel’) before joining Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) in 2007 to set up and drive a comprehensive investor relations program with both internal stakeholders and the investor audience. His high level of engagement with the Saudi and international investment communities at large has made him well known to a broad spectrum of investors and financial institutions. |
